As a family-run business, we know about the importance of keeping the family together and wish to give our guests the chance to experience what we consider to be truly valuable. Children want to discover, wonder and laugh at things, have the chance to be free and play around. We let our smaller guests do this, while we would like their parents to be reminded about the joys of being a family.

A brightly coloured stone, an ant hill, a blackbird darting about the undergrowth - nature is undiscovered territory for children, providing exciting adventures and never failing to surprise.

Our Kids' House contains exactly what it says on the tin. Not just a simple playroom or small play corner, but kids at the DolceVita Hotel ALPIANA RESORT have a whole playhouse to themselves. They can enter their own realm through their own entrance in the hotel. They'll love our toys for all ages – having fun making things, piling up building blocks, spinning around, singing and crawling and trying out various games. And the old nut tree that looks in through the glass window will give them a sense of protection.

In front of the house there's an adventure playground with a climbing wall, slide, swings and sandbox, meaning that kids can will be surrounded by greenery as they play, both indoors and out.

Even reluctant little walkers will want to get moving in the area around Völlan. Along the Chestnut Trail, the Vorbichl Trail, or the International Felt Art Trail, there are lots of stopping points that will have your little ones' undivided attention. Puzzles and stories, magical beings, curious creations, exciting and educational objects, bright shapes made of felt and crazy woodland art.

Along the Marling Nature and Experience Trail there are play and picnic areas, an adventure rope parcours, various information points about forests and types of wood and a woodland house for getting creative with nature. Waterfalls are another walking destination to get kids going. Kids won't get tired of crossing the bridges and climbing the steps to reach the 'Gaulschlucht' gorge.

Alpine Bob at Meran 2000

Like sledging, but better! Whether through the snow or green countryside, the Alpine Bob is the attraction at the family-friendly ski and hiking region of Meran 2000. A piste just like a roller coaster of over one kilometre in length will transport you down to the valley.

Kids' summer camp in Lana

Children are sent off to summer camp so that Mummy and Daddy can spend an afternoon along together – right? Wrong! It's the other way round here. The Kids' Summer Camp in Lana is much more than just arts and crafts and painting: llama trekking, climbing, playing detectives at Vigiljoch pass, campfires, horse and cart rides and wild river tubing. Parents would only be a disturbance at such adventurous occasions!
