Now we children are saving the world! …and the Dolce Vita Hotels support the children and Plant-for-the-Planet by planting trees! We have set a goal with the help of guests, friends and staff: over three years (2020, 2021, 2022), we will plant 5,000 trees and play our part in protecting the environment by reforesting woodland! We both consciously and unconsciously leave our own personal CO2 footprint behind every day. Electricity, heating, consumer behaviour, eating habits or transport all make a contribution to this.
Travel, in particular, generates CO2 emissions. Dolce Vita Hotels are aware of the impact of travel, which is why we have decided to partner with Plant-for-the-Planet. We help the organisation to plant trees and also help train new climate justice ambassadors through other children.

Plant-for-the-Planet plants a new tree every 15 seconds on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. The planting project shows how easy it is to plant trees effectively on a large scale. The initiative plants trees itself through its own products (e.g. Die Gute Schokolade, test winner at Stiftung Warentest) and campaigns (e.g. ‘Stop talking. Start planting’) and motivates people to join in planting trees. Children train each other to become ambassadors for climate justice at academies, which we actively support financially. More than 88,000 children and young people from 74 countries are already involved!
